Arrived Durham

I took flight from Bergama airport (Miliano, Italy) to Newcastle airport, UK. On the way to the UK, I choosed window seat.


Luckily, it was a sunny day and I can see everything from air quite clearly. There was a joke happended on me. I forgot


time in Italy is quicker one hour than the time in the UK. I was very nervious when I was on the planet because the airplant


I took will be delayed for one hour. After I arrived Newcastle, I just run to the immigration and take my luggages very


urgently. When I step in Arrive area of the airport, I didn't see Eric, the Phd student who study in Durham. Suddently,


I realised thatI didn't adjust the time of my watch. Therefore, I still have fourty minutes to hanging around the airport.

People who know Durham know Cathedral and the castle. Yes, these are the reason I choose University of Durham. In


the meantime, It is a small, cosy and beautiful town. The house where I lived is about twenty minutes by walk and very


quite at night. Bus fare in the UKis quite expensive, so my house and I walk everyday. However, I enjoy walking in Durham,


the view is so nice, and wonderful. You even can try different small trace everyday, as long as you got free time.





Living here is just like a big venture. Everything is new to me.





My room is quite small, only half size of my room in my home in Taiwan. Originally, I think it is too small for me. After I put


all my staff into my room, it became very cosy and functional. I wanna save some money for my trip while I am in the UK.
